Thoughts for our Blog

Here are just a couple of thoughts for the day I wanted to share with my readers.

•I believe no matter how I behave, some people will be mean-spirited, dishonest, irresponsible, and unkind, but if I fight fire with fire, all I’ll end up with will be the ashes of my own integrity.

•I believe kindness really matters, and sarcastic comments and badly-timed criticisms can cause lasting hurt.

These are a few items from Michael Josephson.  He gives commentarys on the radio everyday and I always love hearing what he has to say.  He is always so inspiring to me.

New Additions

Thought for March

Something said by the Josephson Institute really got my attention. I wanted to share it with you.

"Hang out with people who bring out the best in you, and be the kind of person who brings out the best in others".

Great thought! A true friend will do just this. If you have friends who are constantly teasing you and making you feel small, they are not bringing out the best in you so that you can be a good friend to others. So be sure your friends really are your friends who would do anything for you through thick and thin.
